My First Written Feedback From An Audience | Year 1 Chronicles (Episode 1)

July 17, 2017

On June 19, 2017, I served as the Keynote Speaker for the Opening Session for the Upward Bound Summer Component at Johnson C. Smith University! I shared my personal story of enduring poverty, hair loss, reading challenges, and grief to become a scholar, University Valedictorian and debt free executive at 28 years old!

This week I received a packet in the mail, consisting of evaluation forms completed by the students reviewing me, my presentation, and the impact. This is my first time receiving written, formal feedback as a professional speaker!

I open this packet and read the reviews for the very first time in this video, inviting you to share this moment with me! Will I cry? Would the reviews be terrible? I had no clue. Either way, it was going to be posted! Viola!
