The DEI ER Celebrates 2 Years!

I am in a season of gratitude, and my heart is very full these days. This is because The DEI ER, a passion project of mine and a service of Raven Solomon Enterprises, recently celebrated its second annual broadcast anniversary and 100th episode.

I want to commemorate this accomplishment with my LinkedIn community and advocate for DEI more broadly!

A few years ago, I noticed that the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion lacked consistent opportunities for professional development, particularly those that allow you to engage in real-time with other practitioners.

As a LinkedIn Audio Live series, The DEI ER is your weekly community gathering of passionate diversity, equity, and inclusion practitioners, professionals, enthusiasts, and advocates.

Whether you do the work of diversity, equity, and inclusion by title or if you identify as an advocate for social change, surrounding yourself with like-minded advocates for DEI is essential.

The DEI ER provides a space for community, connection, and collaboration - “The 3 Cs of DEI Professional Development, as I call them.

To be an effective advocate and a truly inclusive individual, connecting with fellow DEI enthusiasts while you sharpen your skillset is paramount to bearing witness to the effectiveness of DEI work.

Every Friday at 11 am EST, we go live with thought-provoking discussions led by subject matter experts, exploring critical topics that drive the heart of DEI work.

Episodes are always free, and we consistently facilitate value-adding conversations providing real-time ideas and actionable content for organizational DEI leaders and enthusiasts.

The DEI ER creates a digital space where those eager to learn more about inclusion can gather.

Some of our most popular episodes from the past include:

  • Anti-Racism's Role in DEI
  • Supporting Transgender Colleagues
  • Implementing Digital Accessibility
  • Empowering Neurodiversity and Inclusion
  • DEI and Artificial Intelligence

And many more! Each week, an average of 100+ people tune in for The DEI ER

Members of The DEI ER community have had this to say about the series:

  • “The DEI ER is a place of nourishment and refuge.”
  • “This space feels like a community gathering in my neighborhood on LinkedIn.”
  • “The DEI ER is church on Friday!”
  • “Weekly episodes of the show are the one meeting I REFUSE to schedule over.”
  • “The DEI ER is the standard of audio rooms.”

The DEI ER is free, delivered with excellence, and packed with value for those seeking to be more inclusive leaders and individuals more broadly. All I ask for “in return” is your engagement, support, and contribution in one (or more) of three ways:

  • Apply to be a guest speaker in The DEI ER.
  • Consider being a sponsor of The DEI ER (Shoot me a DM!).
  • Tune in as often as you can on Fridays (11 a.m. EST on LinkedIn Audio Live).
  • Tip: You can always find the upcoming episode of The DEI ER in the “featured” section of my profile.

The past two years have been a labor of love, to say the least. Launching The DEI ER while LinkedIn Audio Live was still in beta testing was a risk, but one I took on eagerly and humbly.

I'm excited about the future of this series, and I know that I’ll need your support to continue to create space for DEI professionals and advocates.

If you have joined an episode of The DEI ER before, then I want to say, “Thank You!” If you’ve never tuned in before, I invite you to activate your allyship by embracing all that The DEI ER has to offer.

This series thrives, indeed, depends on the engagement and support of readers like you; won’t you lend your voice to the cause of diversity, equity, and inclusion?
